Miramar lies on the Gulf of Mexico in southern Tamaulipas, part of the urban area that also includes Tampico, Ciudad Madero and Altamira. On a map the coastline runs almost straight north to south, a long, clean edge of sand. The town stretches back from it toward lagoons and wetlands, which break the land into irregular pieces.
The coastline gives the area its name and much of its identity. The long beach known as Playa Miramar draws visitors from across the region, and the roads near the shore run parallel to it. Further inland, newer residential areas follow a more regular grid. Between them, lagoons appear as smooth open shapes surrounded by streets.
A Miramar map poster is about the meeting of sea, sand and lagoon. The Gulf fills one side of the frame as open space. The coastal road draws a firm line, and the water inland adds soft, uneven forms. The composition feels wide and calm, as a flat coast often does from above.
A long, nearly straight shoreline runs along the eastern edge of the map. The Gulf of Mexico beyond it leaves a broad band of open space.
Lagoons and wetlands lie behind the coast, surrounded by streets. Their irregular outlines contrast with the straight shoreline.
Residential streets form regular blocks between the beach and the lagoons. They give the town an orderly, practical layout.

For people who spent summers on the Tamaulipas coast, a map of Miramar is a reminder of long beach days. The title can name the beach, a family or a year, and the coordinates line fixes the exact spot.
Blueprint and Noir make the Gulf a bold open field, and Sand suits a beach town. Classic black and white and Paper are also available. Printed posters are made on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, by partners in more than 30 countries.
