From above, Narragansett is mostly edge. The town sits where the west shore of Narragansett Bay meets Rhode Island Sound, so the coastline wraps around much of the map. Ocean Road follows the rocky shore south from the old Pier district. Inland, quiet residential streets spread out in loose loops and cul-de-sacs rather than a strict grid, and the empty stretches of water make every built area stand out.
The southern tip is Point Judith, a blunt headland with a lighthouse that marks the entrance to the bay. Just west of it, the fishing village of Galilee sits on a narrow strip between the sound and Point Judith Pond, a long salt pond that cuts deep into the land. Its breakwaters, channels and small islands give the lower half of a Narragansett map poster its most intricate linework.
Along the northwest edge, the Pettaquamscutt River, known locally as the Narrow River, winds down to the sea and gives the town a soft, curving border. Near the centre, the stone arch of the Towers crosses Ocean Road, all that remains of a nineteenth-century casino from the town's resort era. Ferries to Block Island leave from Galilee, and the harbour lines on the map record that daily traffic.
The town's southern tip pushes into Rhode Island Sound. The lighthouse, the breakwaters and the curve of the shore make a clean, recognisable shape at the bottom of the map.
A long salt pond reaching north from Galilee. Its irregular shoreline, coves and small islands add fine detail and a large calm area of white space to the western side.
The Pettaquamscutt River bends along the northwest boundary before meeting the sea. Its thin, winding course is a gentle contrast to the hard ocean coastline to the east.

Narragansett tends to mean summers: beach days at the town beach, a ferry out to Block Island, a rented house near the Pier. A map of its shoreline and salt pond keeps those memories in view long after the season ends. It also suits anyone who studied or works at the URI Bay Campus, or who simply grew up by this water.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to mark a wedding date or the street of a family house. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9, with a free 900 px preview to check first, or you can order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
