Phủ Lý sits on the flat southern edge of the Red River Delta, at the point where the Đáy, Nhuệ and Châu Giang rivers meet. That confluence shapes the whole city. From above, the rivers divide the urban area into separate pieces, and bridges knit them back together. The rivers' curving lines cut across blocks of streets and the surrounding rice fields.
For decades Phủ Lý was the provincial seat of Hà Nam, and after the 2025 merger of provinces it became part of Ninh Bình. It lies on the main north–south corridor of Vietnam, and both the national highway and the railway pass through on their way south from Hanoi. To the west, the flat delta gives way to limestone hills.
A Phủ Lý map poster is a study in water and division. Three rivers curve into one another, and new, straighter streets on the edges contrast with the older blocks near the confluence. A thin network of canals and field boundaries fills the space around them. In black and white the rivers become the strongest lines on the page and give the map clear, flowing structure.

Several bridges link the separate parts of town across the rivers. On the map they appear as short, precise strokes that stitch the districts together.
The main national highway and the railway run through the city in long, steady lines, tying Phủ Lý to Hanoi in the north and the provinces to the south.

Ko e hā ʻa Phủ Lý
Phủ Lý is a city many people pass through on the road south, and one that others call home. A map of its three rivers makes an honest and elegant portrait of a place defined by where waters meet.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to a family name, a street or a date that matters, and pick from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the rivers glow against the dark ground.
