Rioverde is the main town of the Zona Media of San Luis Potosí, an area of valleys between the high plateau and the Sierra Madre Oriental. From above, the town is a compact grid of Spanish colonial type. Its straight streets form rectangular blocks around a central plaza, with the main roads leaving toward San Luis Potosí and Ciudad Valles.
The town takes its name from the Río Verde, which runs through the valley. Around it, irrigation channels, orchards and fields form a geometric patchwork. The region is known for growing citrus, and orange groves occupy much of the land around the town. On the map, field boundaries and irrigation lines continue the regularity of the urban grid.
A Rioverde map poster can also take in part of the wider municipality, which includes the Laguna de la Media Luna. It is a spring-fed lagoon with very clear water, popular with swimmers and divers. Its crescent shape gives the lagoon its name.
The centre follows a clear grid around the main plaza, with evenly sized blocks that read as a regular pattern on the poster.
The river that gives the town its name runs through a wide valley of irrigated land. Its line contrasts with the straight streets.
The spring-fed Laguna de la Media Luna lies within the municipality, and its crescent shape gives the lagoon its name.

The poster suits people from the Zona Media, Potosinos living elsewhere, and divers who know the Media Luna. The regular grid in an irrigated valley makes a clean composition.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a year. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the warm light of the valley.
