Savé lies in the Collines department of central Benin, a name that fits: the town is surrounded by rounded granite hills rising from the plain. On the map, those outcrops appear as blank or softly shaded areas that the streets avoid, so the town's roads bend around them and cluster in the lower ground between.
Savé is the historic centre of the Shabe, a Yoruba kingdom, and remains an important market town on the route between the coast and northern Benin. The main north–south highway and the railway from Cotonou both pass through the area, giving the map two long, straight lines that contrast with the irregular pattern of local streets.
A Savé map poster shows a town that is shaped as much by rock as by planning. Its streets fit into the spaces the hills allow, and the result is a distinctive, uneven outline that feels very different from the coastal cities of the south.
Rounded rocky hills surround the town and appear on the map as open spaces the street network bends around, giving Savé its characteristic shape.
The main road linking southern and northern Benin passes through Savé, a strong line that anchors the town's commercial activity along its route.
The railway from Cotonou runs past the town, a long, gently curving line that adds a second axis to the map alongside the highway.

For people from Savé, the hills around the town are an unmistakable part of home. A map poster keeps that landscape in view, and makes a meaningful gift for relatives in Cotonou, elsewhere in West Africa or in Europe.
Add a personal title and subtitle and choose whether to show coordinates. The poster comes in five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as $9 HD files in six sizes or printed on matte paper with an optional frame.
