Thái Bình lies in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam, southeast of Hanoi. Following Vietnam's 2025 provincial mergers, it is now part of Hưng Yên Province. The city sits on the Trà Lý River, a branch of the Red River, and on a map its streets lie along the riverbank. Bridges connect it to the farmland on the far side.
The surrounding delta is some of the most intensively farmed land in the country. Rice paddies cover the plain, dikes protect it from floods, and irrigation canals divide it into regular fields. On the poster these features create a fine pattern around the city's more irregular streets.
A Thái Bình map poster shows a city that grew as the centre of a rice-growing region, sometimes described as one of Vietnam's rice baskets. The mix of urban blocks, river and cultivated delta makes it a place defined as much by water and fields as by its streets.
The river runs past the city as its main natural feature. The urban area sits along its bank and bridges link it to the other side.
Raised dikes along the rivers and canals protect the flat land from flooding and appear as long lines running across the landscape.
Paddy fields surround the city, divided by canals into small rectangles that make a quiet, even texture on the poster.

The poster suits families from the former Thái Bình Province, Vietnamese abroad, and anyone interested in delta landscapes. The river and fields make a balanced, calm design.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, including with Vietnamese diacritics, and there are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Digital files are $9.
