Ko e mape
Tràm Chim lies in Đồng Tháp province, in the Plain of Reeds, a low, seasonally flooded part of the Mekong Delta. The map is ruled by water. Long, straight canals cut across the flat land, and the town's streets run along them. Beyond the built-up area, rice fields and wetlands fill the spaces between the waterways.
The town gives its name to Tràm Chim National Park, a protected wetland that preserves a remnant of the Plain of Reeds' original landscape. The park is known for waterbirds, especially the sarus crane, and is listed as a Ramsar wetland of international importance. Canals and embankments define its borders.
A Tràm Chim map poster turns this delta geometry into a striking image. There are ruled canal lines, long thin settlements along the banks, and wide blocks of wetland. It is a map of land shaped by water, and it looks especially strong when reduced to black and white.
Straight canals cross the plain in long, parallel and perpendicular lines. They form the backbone of the map and of daily movement in the delta.
The protected wetland appears as a broad area bounded by canals and embankments. On the poster it is a large open shape beside the town.
Homes and streets line the canal banks in long, narrow strips. This shows how settlement in the delta follows the water.

Ko e hā ʻa Tràm Chim
Tràm Chim holds meaning for people who grew up in the delta and for travellers who came to see the cranes. A map of its canals and wetlands is a calm, distinctive piece for the wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the date of a visit, and add the coordinates. Choose from five styles. Blueprint suits the canal geometry, and Paper softens the wetland.
