Street grid
The central streets follow a mostly regular pattern of blocks. As the town has grown, that pattern has extended outward along the main roads into the surrounding land.

Trindade Map Poster & Print
Trindade lies in the far west of Pernambuco, in the semi-arid sertão near the Chapada do Araripe. The streets spread out from a central area in a fairly regular pattern, and newer neighbourhoods extend along the main roads. Beyond them the land opens into caatinga scrub and farmland, dry terrain crossed by country roads and seasonal streams.
The town is part of the Araripe gypsum district, one of Brazil's main areas for mining and processing gypsum, and quarries and works are part of the local landscape. On a map they can appear as irregular open patches beyond the streets. A Trindade map poster sets the town's orderly blocks against the rougher, working ground around them.
In black and white, the balance between town and sertão gives the print its character. The centre is dense and clearly structured, while the roads spread thinly into open country toward other towns of the Araripe region. The result is a calm, spacious composition that reflects the scale of the interior.

Gypsum country
Around Trindade, mining and processing sites of the Araripe gypsum district mark the land. They break up the scrub with broad, irregular shapes on the outer parts of the map.
Sertão roads
Long country roads run out across the semi-arid landscape toward other towns of the region. Their thin lines give the edges of the print a sense of distance.
