Narrow streets branch and rejoin without a fixed grid, forming a dense, irregular pattern that gives the poster its fine, woven texture.

Adjarra Map Poster & Print
Adjarra sits in the Ouémé department of southern Benin, just north-east of Porto-Novo, the country's official capital. The map shows where one ends and the other begins only faintly: neighbourhoods run together along shared roads, with compounds, small lanes and courtyards filling the spaces between them. Further out the pattern loosens into farmland and clusters of villages.
The town is known across the region for its market and for traditional crafts, including the making of drums. Roads leading east toward the Nigerian border give the map a clear directional pull, and the street network reflects generations of gradual growth rather than a single plan: lanes turn, split and rejoin, creating a fine, textured web that prints well in monochrome.
An Adjarra map poster captures that texture at the scale of daily life, with the market area, the main roads and the residential lanes all visible. It works as a portrait of a place shaped by trade and craft, and as a reminder of home for anyone from the Porto-Novo area now living elsewhere.

Edge of Porto-Novo
The built-up area merges into the capital to the south-west, so a wider frame shows two towns joined by one continuous web of roads.
Roads toward Nigeria
Routes heading east toward the frontier stretch across the map in long lines, marking Adjarra's position between the capital and the neighbouring country.
