Estância Velha Map Poster & Print
Estância Velha lies in the Vale dos Sinos, north of Porto Alegre in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. From above the town forms a compact urban area close to Novo Hamburgo, with streets that follow the gentle rise and fall of the land and blend into the continuous built-up zone of the valley.
The street pattern mixes regular residential blocks with larger plots used for industry, and green hills and farmland frame the edges of the town. Main roads connect it to neighbouring municipalities, and the density of the map changes noticeably as you move from the centre toward the countryside.
The region was settled by German immigrants in the nineteenth century, and Estância Velha is known for its long association with leather tanning. An Estância Velha map poster presents the town as a clear, graphic street network set within the wider landscape of the valley.
