Glanerbeek border
The small stream that gives the village its name also marks the Dutch–German frontier, a thin winding line with streets reaching it from both sides.

Glanerbrug Map Poster & Print
Glanerbrug sits on the eastern side of Enschede in Twente, directly on the border with Germany. Its name refers to a bridge over the Glanerbeek, the small stream that marks the frontier here. From above, the Dutch streets carry straight on into the German town of Gronau, and the border is hard to spot without a dashed line.
Most of the village is residential: quiet streets of terraced and detached houses, bordered by green strips and small woods. A main road connects Glanerbrug westward to central Enschede and eastward across the border. Like much of Twente, the area's growth was tied to the textile industry, which shaped both the housing and the ties between the two neighbouring towns.
A Glanerbrug map poster shows a place defined by its edge. The stream, the border crossing and the way one town's streets flow into the next make for an unusual composition, especially for anyone with family or work on both sides. In black and white, the international boundary becomes one fine line among many.

Residential grid
Terraced streets and small cul-de-sacs fill most of the map, with green belts and patches of woodland softening the edges toward Enschede and the open countryside.

Neden Glanerbrug
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Glanerbrug means something to people who grew up with the border as part of daily life, crossing for shopping, work or family. A poster of these streets captures that everyday closeness in a way a photograph can't, and makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away.
Add a custom title, a subtitle and a coordinates line, then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital download covers six print sizes, and matte posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
