Kalmthoutse Heide
The heathland north of the village is almost free of roads. On the map it becomes a broad, open area crossed only by a few fine paths.

Kalmthout Map Poster & Print
Kalmthout lies in the north of Antwerp province, close to the Dutch border. Its landscape is sandy, wooded and quiet, and much of the land around it is protected. North of the village lies the Kalmthoutse Heide, a large expanse of heath, dunes, fens and pine woods that forms part of a cross-border park extending into the Netherlands.
The village itself spreads out along roads rather than around a single dense centre, with villa neighbourhoods set among trees and streets that curve gently through the woodland. A railway line runs through, linking Kalmthout to Antwerp. The village is also known for its arboretum, a historic tree garden that draws visitors in every season.
A Kalmthout map poster shows a place where the street network is as much about the spaces between as the streets themselves. Built-up areas thin into tree-lined lanes, then into the near-empty expanse of the heath. In black and white, that shift from dense to open gives the poster a calm, spacious feel.

Railway through the village
The line to Antwerp cuts a straight course through the curving residential streets, giving the composition a clear structural axis.
Wooded villa lanes
Many neighbourhoods follow loose, meandering roads among trees, creating a soft, irregular pattern quite unlike a typical Flemish town grid.

Neden Kalmthout
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Kalmthout is where many people from Antwerp come to walk, cycle and breathe, and it is home to families who value that closeness to nature. A map of the village and heath captures both the streets and the space around them.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of a street or the year you moved in, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand work well for the heathland mood.
