Weser estuary edge
To the west, the broad Weser and its dikes form a firm boundary. This wide band of open water anchors the whole composition and gives it a clear horizon.

Loxstedt Map Poster & Print
Loxstedt lies in the district of Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony, directly south of Bremerhaven on the eastern side of the Weser estuary. It is a municipality of many villages rather than a single town, and the map shows this clearly: small clusters of streets scattered across a flat, low landscape instead of one concentrated centre.
The land here is marsh and moor, shaped over centuries by dikes and drainage. Long straight ditches divide the fields into narrow strips, and roads run along raised lines between them. Toward the river, the broad channel of the Weser and its dikes form a strong edge. The railway and main roads link the villages to Bremerhaven and Bremen.
A Loxstedt map poster turns this flat, engineered landscape into a composition of fine parallel lines, small village cores and the wide, calm shape of the estuary. It suits residents of any of the villages, and anyone drawn to the North German coast and its patient, water-managed countryside, where every line on the ground has a purpose.

Drainage ditch patterns
Across the marshland, straight ditches cut the fields into long, narrow parcels, producing fine parallel lines that give the map a textured, almost engraved look.
Village clusters
Loxstedt is a collection of villages, each shown as its own small knot of streets, spaced out across the flat land and linked by quiet country roads.
