Railway junction
Several rail lines meet here, and on the map their long, gentle curves cut across the street pattern, giving the poster strong lines that hold the whole composition together.

Marktredwitz Map Poster & Print
Marktredwitz lies in northeastern Bavaria, in the Fichtelgebirge district of Wunsiedel, only a short distance from the Czech border. From above, the town gathers around a compact historic centre, with the small Kösseine river running through and railway lines converging from several directions. Forested hills rise around the edges, so the built-up area follows the valleys rather than spreading evenly.
The town has an unusual history: for centuries it belonged to the Egerland and was administered from Cheb in Bohemia, becoming part of Bavaria only in the early nineteenth century. Its later growth came with industry and the railway, and Marktredwitz remains a junction where lines toward Regensburg, Nuremberg and the Czech Republic meet.
A Marktredwitz map poster captures that layered shape well. The old core reads as a dense knot of streets, the tracks draw long curves through the town, and residential quarters spread up the gentler slopes. With the surrounding woodland left as open space, the composition feels both compact and connected, a small place that has long stood between two regions.

Kösseine valley
The small river threads through town, and the streets beside it follow its course, a thin natural line running through the more regular pattern of later neighbourhoods.
Fichtelgebirge edges
Wooded uplands surround the town, so development stops abruptly at the hillsides and the built-up area takes a distinct, irregular outline against open space.
