Melchor Ocampo Map Poster & Print
Melchor Ocampo lies in the State of México, in the northern part of the Valley of Mexico beyond the edge of Mexico City's continuous urban area. On a map the town centre forms a compact grid around its main square and church, while the surrounding land shows a mix of fields, irrigation canals and growing residential neighbourhoods.
The municipality is named after Melchor Ocampo, the nineteenth-century liberal politician associated with the Reform era, and it lies close to Cuautitlán and Tultepec. The land here is flat and high, part of the old lake basin of the valley, which is why straight roads and canal lines dominate the wider pattern.
As the metropolitan area has pushed north, new housing has spread across former farmland, and the map captures the moment where older village streets meet newer blocks. A Melchor Ocampo map poster presents that layered pattern in clean monochrome lines, a fitting record for people who call the town home.

Former lake basin
Flat land that was once part of the valley's lake system is now crossed by canals and straight roads, giving the map its long, level lines.
Edge of the metropolis
Newer neighbourhoods on the outskirts show the steady northward growth of Greater Mexico City, appearing as blocks that press against open fields.
