Ţūkh is a town in Qalyubia governorate, north of Cairo in the southern part of the Nile Delta. The Damietta branch of the Nile runs close by. Around the town, the land is almost entirely cultivated and divided by irrigation canals and drains, so from above the ground looks finely ruled.

Its streets are narrow and irregular, and older lanes bend in every direction, while main roads run straight out toward neighbouring villages and the larger centres of the governorate.
