Flat coastal plain
The settlement lies on the low, level ground behind the Gulf coast, so streets run without the bends a hillside would force on them.

Valente Diaz Map Poster & Print
Valente Díaz sits in the municipality of Veracruz, a short distance inland from the Gulf of Mexico coast. On a map it reads as a fringe settlement: blocks of streets set out on flat, low-lying ground, with the denser fabric of the port city pressing in from the east and open plots and scattered lots still visible around its edges.
Because the land here is so level, the street pattern carries most of the drawing. Straight residential lanes, a few longer connecting roads and the occasional unbuilt parcel create a rhythm of fine lines and pale gaps. A Valente Díaz map poster keeps that quiet, practical geometry, the kind of layout that grows outward from a large city one neighbourhood at a time.
It is a place many people know from daily life rather than from guidebooks: a place to live, commute from and return to. Seen from above, it shows how the Veracruz metropolitan area spreads across the coastal plain, with the sea not far off and the roads all leaning toward the port.

Edge of the metro
Denser urban blocks of Veracruz press in on one side while looser lots and open land show on the other, a clear urban edge on the page.
Connecting roads
A handful of longer roads cut through the local grid and tie the neighbourhood to the wider port city, giving the composition its main strokes.

For people who grew up here or still live here, this map is a record of home at street level. It shows the lanes they actually walk and drive, not a postcard view, and it can carry a family name or a move-in date.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and pick one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a $9 HD download or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
