Krzyki-Partynice sits on the southern side of Wrocław, in the city's Krzyki district, where the dense grid of the centre loosens into a mix of apartment blocks, detached houses and open ground. From above, the streets form a looser pattern than the historic core further north. The area is best known for Partynice, home to Wrocław's horse racing track. On paper it is the neighbourhood's defining shape: a large, smooth oval set among straight roads and residential plots.
