Luxor Map Poster & Print
Luxor lies on the Nile in Upper Egypt, on the site of ancient Thebes. From above, the river runs north to south through a narrow green valley. The modern city fills the east bank in a close grid of streets, while the west bank is mostly fields and villages that give way to bare desert hills.
The east bank holds two of the best-known temple complexes in Egypt. Luxor Temple stands by the river in the centre of town, and Karnak lies to the north. They are connected by a long, straight processional avenue lined with sphinxes. Across the river are the Valley of the Kings and the mortuary temples of the pharaohs.
A Luxor map poster carries this old division between the living city and the necropolis. The Nile splits the composition in two, the temple precincts appear as large open shapes among the streets, and the Avenue of Sphinxes draws one of the oldest straight lines on any city map.

Maʼnoga ega xarita
Luxor is where many travellers first see ancient Egypt up close, and it stays with them. A map of the city is a restrained souvenir that says more than a postcard, especially with the Nile at its centre.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example with the dates of a trip. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the landscape particularly well.
