Te mapa
Basmat is a town in the Hingoli district of Maharashtra, in the Marathwada region of the Deccan plateau. On a map it shows the pattern common to many market towns in the area: a close-knit centre of short, irregular lanes, surrounded by looser residential streets and then open agricultural land crossed by straight rural roads.
The town serves a wide farming hinterland, and the roads leading out of it connect Basmat with nearby towns and villages across the plain. The terrain is fairly flat, so the network spreads evenly in most directions, interrupted by field boundaries, small watercourses and the occasional larger plot of land.
A Basmat map poster turns this everyday geography into a clean graphic. The thickest cluster of lines marks the old centre, the radiating roads give the design its structure, and the thinning streets towards the edges show the town giving way to the countryside that sustains it.
The heart of Basmat is a tight knot of narrow lanes and small blocks, the darkest and most detailed area of the map.
Several roads leave the centre in different directions, linking the town to the surrounding villages and giving the composition a clear, star-like frame.
At the outer edge the street pattern loosens into scattered lines and open space, reflecting the agricultural plain that surrounds the town.

Koteā ko Basmat
For families from Basmat, including those now living in Pune, Mumbai or abroad, this map is a precise reminder of home. It shows the lanes and roads as they actually run, without decoration, which gives it a personal and honest character.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line in your own words, such as a family name or a wedding date, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand pairs naturally with the warm tones of the Deccan.
