Te mapa
Bekasi sits on Jakarta's eastern edge in West Java, and on a map the boundary between the two is almost impossible to see. The city is part of the wider Jabodetabek metropolitan area, and much of its growth has come from people who work in the capital and live further out. The result is a close-knit fabric of housing estates, main roads and commercial strips.
Several strong lines run through this pattern. The Bekasi River flows north toward the Java Sea, the Kalimalang canal carries water west toward Jakarta, and the Jakarta–Cikampek toll road crosses the city from west to east. Alongside them, a commuter rail line links Bekasi directly to central Jakarta, so the city's structure follows transport as much as terrain.
The land is low and flat, with few natural obstacles, and planned housing estates appear as neat pockets of curving streets inside a wider, less regular grid. A Bekasi map poster turns this everyday landscape into something graphic, showing how the river, the canal and the highways divide one of Indonesia's largest cities into clear sections.
A long, straight canal crosses Bekasi from east to west, lined by roads on both banks, and draws a crisp horizontal line across the map.
The river winds north through the city, its curves contrasting with the straight canal and toll road, and marks a natural divide between neighbourhoods.
Planned residential developments show up as self-contained clusters of looping streets and cul-de-sacs, easy to pick out among the denser older kampung areas around them.

Koteā ko Bekasi
For many families Bekasi is where they bought their first home, and a map of the estate or the neighbourhood is a meaningful thing to frame. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who commutes into Jakarta every day.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited, so the poster can name a housing estate, a street or a moving-in date. Pick one of five styles, try the free watermarked preview, and download HD files in six sizes for $9.
