Te mapa
Beryozovsky lies just northeast of Yekaterinburg in Sverdlovsk Oblast, close enough that the two cities almost touch. On a map it appears as a series of districts separated by forest. Soviet-era blocks sit around a central core, and low wooden-house streets and newer cottage settlements spread outward through birch and pine.
Ponds and small reservoirs dot the area. Many of them are the result of centuries of mining, which left traces in the landscape: old workings, dammed streams and industrial sites. Roads and railway lines link the town to the regional capital, and the forest fills the gaps between them.
Beryozovsky has a precise place in history. In 1745 gold was discovered here for the first time in Russia, by the peasant Erofei Markov, and gold mining continued for centuries. A Beryozovsky map poster shows a town where forest, water and mining have shaped the layout of every district.
Stretches of woodland separate the town's districts, giving the map broad, calm spaces between clusters of streets.
Small reservoirs and dammed streams, many linked to the history of gold mining, add soft shapes to the composition.
Main roads run southwest toward the regional capital, showing how closely the two cities are linked.

Koteā ko Beryozovsky
Beryozovsky is for people who grew up in the Urals, and for anyone interested in the story of Russian gold. The mix of forest, water and town makes a quiet, textured map.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, in Russian or any language. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir works well for a northern winter town.
