Te mapa
Brad is a small town in Hunedoara County, western Romania, at the edge of the Apuseni Mountains. It lies in the valley of the Crișul Alb river, in the area known as the Golden Quadrilateral, where gold has been mined since antiquity. The town's Gold Museum holds a well-known collection of natural gold specimens.
On a map, Brad follows the valley. The river and the main road run through its length, and streets branch up the hillsides as far as the slope allows. The centre is compact, while residential areas and former mining sites spread along side valleys into the surrounding wooded hills.
A Brad map poster combines a winding river, a linear town and the rough edges of the Apuseni landscape. It is a picture of a place shaped by geology and industry, told simply through the lines of streets, water and roads.
The river runs through the town, and most streets follow it. Its bends give the poster a clear central line and a natural flow.
The town centre, home to the Gold Museum, is a small cluster of denser streets on the valley floor, where public buildings and shops are grouped.
Roads and houses climb into the side valleys of the Apuseni foothills, forming thin branches of settlement that reach into the hills.

Koteā ko Brad
Brad means a lot to families with mining roots and to people who grew up in the Zarand country. A map of the town is an elegant way to honour that history and landscape.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper are also available.
