Te mapa
Campiña is the traditional Andalusian name for the gently rolling farmland between the Sierra Morena and the mountain ranges further south. This area lies in the province of Jaén, in the upper basin of the Guadalquivir. Its map shows a landscape of rural roads, compact towns and field patterns rather than a single city centre.
Jaén is one of the largest olive oil producing provinces in the world, and olive groves give the countryside its unmistakable character. From above, towns appear as dense knots of narrow streets, often on low hills, linked by roads that curve across the slopes. Streams and irrigation channels thread between them on their way to the Guadalquivir.
A Campiña map poster is a portrait of rural Andalusia seen from the air. The compact whitewashed towns form small dark clusters against the pale expanse of fields, and the winding country roads give the frame its rhythm. It suits anyone drawn to the agricultural heart of southern Spain rather than its famous coastal cities.
Olive cultivation dominates the surrounding land. The fine lines of field boundaries and farm tracks create an even, textured background across much of the poster.
Towns rise on low hills as tight clusters of narrow streets, and their compact outlines stand out clearly among the open fields around them.
Streams and small rivers drain toward the Guadalquivir. Their thin, winding lines of water break up the geometry of the roads and fields.
