Te mapa
Carapicuíba lies in the western part of Greater São Paulo, and its map is one of the most densely packed in the metropolitan area. Small blocks and narrow streets cover rolling hills, often following the contours rather than any grid. To the north the city is bounded by the Tietê River and the railway that runs beside it, a firm edge that frames the whole composition.
Along the river lies Carapicuíba's lagoon and park, a broad space of open water and green that stands out against the dense surrounding streets. Main roads and the railway corridor run east–west toward São Paulo, while the rest of the city is a fine-grained mesh of residential streets, changing direction as the land rises and falls.
The city's historic heart is the Aldeia de Carapicuíba, a Jesuit settlement founded in the late sixteenth century whose small square of houses around a chapel still survives. It is one of the few colonial villages of its kind preserved in the region. A Carapicuíba map poster pairs that tiny, orderly square with the vast, organic street pattern that surrounds it.

Koteā ko Carapicuíba
Carapicuíba is home to hundreds of thousands of people who travel into São Paulo each day, yet few maps focus on it alone. A poster gives the city its own frame, from the hills where people grew up to the river on its edge.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a street, a neighbourhood or a family date. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and print it yourself from the HD files or order a finished poster.
