Te mapa
Coppell lies in the northwest of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, directly on the northern edge of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. From above, the contrast is sharp. The airport's runways and terminals form a huge geometric shape to the south. The city above it is a network of looping residential streets and cul-de-sacs, divided by a few main roads.
Denton Creek winds through the north of the city, and the Elm Fork of the Trinity River runs near its eastern edge. Both are lined with green space. Much of Coppell was built from the 1980s onward, and parks, trails and schools are woven into the neighbourhood plan.
A Coppell map poster shows that tidy suburban order. It includes the curving streets and green creek corridors, the few strong arterial roads that tie them together and the edge of the airport's straight runways.

A creek winds through the north of Coppell, lined with parkland and trails. On the map it is a soft, meandering line through the neighbourhoods.
Residential streets curve and loop within blocks bounded by main roads. Their cul-de-sacs give the poster a fine, rhythmic texture.
