Te mapa
Covington lies in south King County, on the rolling upland east of the Green River valley and Kent. It became a city in 1997, and its map shows a suburban character: curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and subdivisions arranged around a few main roads, with patches of forest and wetland still woven between them.
State Route 516, known locally as Kent-Kangley Road, crosses the city as its main east–west route, and the commercial centre gathers along it in larger blocks and parking areas. Small lakes and creeks lie among the neighbourhoods, and green stream corridors such as Soos Creek give the map soft, irregular shapes around its edges.
Covington grew from a small rural community into a residential city within commuting distance of Seattle and Tacoma. A Covington map poster shows that growth clearly, with a dense web of newer streets set against older road lines and the remaining woodland of south King County.
The main east–west road runs through the city, lined with larger commercial blocks. It is the clearest straight line in an otherwise curving layout.
Winding streets and cul-de-sacs form a dense, branching pattern that fills most of the map, the characteristic texture of a Pacific Northwest suburb.
Small lakes and forested stream corridors break up the neighbourhoods, adding smooth, irregular shapes and open space to the composition.

Many families moved to Covington for space, schools and trees, and a map of the city marks that choice. It works well as a housewarming gift or as a record of a first home.
