Te mapa
Daboh lies in the Bhind district of northern Madhya Pradesh, on the open plains of the wider Chambal region. The land is flat to gently undulating and is cut in places by seasonal streams and drainage lines. From above, the town is a dense knot of streets surrounded by a wide expanse of agricultural fields and village roads.
The centre is compact and irregular, with narrow lanes that turn and join around the market area. Farther out, the plots get larger and the roads straighten as they head toward neighbouring towns and villages. Ponds and tanks show up as small, crisp shapes, a common feature of settlements across the region.
A Daboh map poster gives a clear picture of an Indian market town: a tight cluster of activity at the centre with roads radiating across the countryside. It suits the Paper and Sand styles, whose warm tones echo the dusty plains, as well as the sharper contrast of Noir.
A dense tangle of narrow lanes marks the old commercial heart of town. It is the busiest and most intricate part of the map.
Several roads leave town toward nearby settlements. They give the map a loose star shape set against the open fields.
Small water bodies in and around the town form sharp, simple shapes. They break up the street pattern and add contrast.
