Te mapa
Dhoro Naro lies in Umerkot district in south-east Sindh, Pakistan, where the irrigated Indus plains give way to the Thar desert. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets and low buildings around its main roads. Farmland extends in rectangular plots on the irrigated side, and drier, more open land stretches away to the east.
Canals fed by the Indus river system make farming possible here, and their straight lines are among the clearest features on the map. The town is a local market and administrative centre for the surrounding villages, serving farmers who grow crops such as cotton and wheat. Beyond the irrigated land, the landscape changes quickly to the dunes and scrub of the desert.
A Dhoro Naro map poster captures that edge between two kinds of land. The disciplined grid of fields and canals meets the looser, more scattered pattern of desert tracks and small settlements. It is a sparse but distinctive map, one that reflects how water shapes life in this part of Sindh.
Irrigation canals cut straight lines across the plain, framing blocks of fields and giving the map a clear structure around the town.
The town centre forms a compact cluster of streets where roads from the surrounding villages converge, making it the densest part of the map.
To the east, fields give way to open ground and sandy terrain, where roads thin out into scattered tracks linking small settlements.
