Te mapa
Didouche Mourad is a short distance north of Constantine, in north-eastern Algeria, on the road that leads from the city towards the coast. It is named after Didouche Mourad, one of the leaders of the Algerian War of Independence, who was killed in 1955. The terrain is hilly, and the town follows it rather than imposing a flat grid.
From above, the older centre is a compact cluster of streets along the main road, while newer housing estates and apartment blocks spread across the surrounding slopes. Fields and orchards lie between the built-up areas, and the roads bend as they climb from one level of the hillside to the next.
Because it is so close to Constantine, much of daily life here is tied to the city, and the town has grown steadily as part of the wider urban region. A Didouche Mourad map poster shows that relationship clearly: a town with its own centre, shaped by hills, within easy reach of one of Algeria's great cities.
The principal road runs through the town and organises the older centre, with shorter streets branching off it into the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Newer housing is spread across the slopes in separate groups of blocks, each with its own small network of access roads, which gives the map a clustered look.
Farmland and undeveloped land remain between the neighbourhoods, so the built-up areas appear as distinct patches rather than one continuous town.

Koteā ko Didouche Mourad
A map of Didouche Mourad appeals to people who grew up here and now live in Constantine, Algiers or abroad. The name alone carries meaning in Algeria, and the poster pairs it with the quiet detail of real streets.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from five styles, from Classic black & white to Noir. The digital files cost $9 for six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a PDF, and a free 900 px preview lets you check the layout first.
