Te mapa
Garopaba is on the coast of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil, south of Florianópolis. It began as a fishing village settled by Azorean families, and the historic centre near the bay still shows that origin. Today it is known for surf beaches and, in winter, for southern right whales, which come close to this coast to calve.
The coastline is complicated. Rocky headlands divide the shore into a series of curved bays, and each beach forms its own arc of sand. The town centre wraps around a sheltered bay, and newer streets spread over the lower ground behind it. Inland, lagoons and dunes add broad, soft shapes to the landscape.
A Garopaba map poster makes the most of that varied edge. Headland, bay and lagoon produce a lively outline, and the street pattern stays compact and informal. It shows the town as it relates to the sea, which is how most people remember it.
Rocky points separate a sequence of beaches, each drawing its own clean arc. Together they form one of the most expressive coastlines at poster scale.
The old fishing-village centre sits around the sheltered main bay, where the earliest streets and the church face the water.
Behind the coast, lagoons and dune fields create large open shapes that balance the dense streets of the town.

Garopaba is a place for surf trips, whale seasons and long summers, and many people keep it as their favourite stretch of coast. A map poster brings those bays home as a lasting reminder.
