Ginosa lies in the province of Taranto, in western Apulia near the border with Basilicata. The old town is built on the rim of a gravina, one of the deep limestone ravines typical of this area, and its streets crowd toward the edge before the land drops away. As in nearby Matera, the ravine walls once held cave dwellings and rock-cut churches.
On the map, the historic centre is a dense tangle of narrow lanes crowned by a Norman castle, while newer districts spread across flatter ground in a more regular pattern. The gravina cuts a winding, empty channel through the composition. To the south, the municipality reaches the Ionian Sea at Marina di Ginosa, a resort district behind a long, straight shoreline.
A Ginosa map poster shows a town defined by its geology, with the ravine giving the old centre a dramatic, broken edge. It suits anyone who knows the steep lanes above the gravina or the summer streets near the sea, and who wants a record of a place shaped so directly by stone and water.

The historic centre is a dense knot of narrow, irregular lanes around the Norman castle, packed tightly onto the high ground above the ravine.
On the Ionian coast, the resort district of Marina di Ginosa forms a separate, more regular grid behind a long and almost straight sandy shoreline.

Koteā ko Ginosa
For families with roots in Apulia, Ginosa is a place of summers, relatives and stone houses above the ravine. The map brings those memories into one clean image, and the dramatic gravina makes it stand out on any wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a wedding date, and edit the coordinates. Choose from five styles. Paper and Sand work especially well with the warm tones of southern Italian interiors.
