Te mapa
Điện Bàn occupies the flat country between the southern edge of Da Nang and the old port town of Hội An. On a map it is a landscape of water as much as streets: channels of the lower Thu Bồn river system wind through it, dividing paddies and villages into irregular pieces, while the main north–south highway draws a firm line through the middle.
Long part of Quảng Nam province, the area now falls within Da Nang City after Vietnam's 2025 administrative reorganisation. Its settlements grew along roads and riverbanks rather than on a planned grid, so the street pattern thickens in ribbons and clusters. Toward the east the land reaches the coast, where newer roads and resorts line up behind a long sandy beach facing the sea.
A Điện Bàn map poster shows how settlement and water share this plain: winding channels, scattered village cores, straight highways cutting across, and the clean edge of the shoreline. It is a subtle map rather than a dramatic one, and that restraint suits the black-and-white treatment, where every bend of a river becomes a single drawn line.
Branches of the lower Thu Bồn river system cross the area, splitting the land into islands and peninsulas of paddy and village that give the map its loose, organic structure.
On the eastern side the plain ends in a long, nearly straight beach. Roads run parallel to the shore, and the coastline makes a clean boundary against the busier interior.
The main north–south road out of Da Nang runs through Điện Bàn, a straight axis along which shops and houses have grown in a continuous ribbon.

For anyone with family roots in Quảng Nam, or who has spent time between Da Nang and Hội An, this map holds a very specific kind of landscape: water, fields and roads in close company. It makes a gentle piece for a living room or bedroom.
