Te mapa
Gūdūr is a town in southern Andhra Pradesh, on the flat coastal plain between Nellore and the Tamil Nadu border. It is an important railway junction, where the main line along the east coast meets a line running inland toward Renigunta and Tirupati. From above, the town is organised around the railway, with streets spreading out on both sides of the tracks.
The area has long been associated with mica, and the Gūdūr region formed part of the mica mining belt of the Nellore area. Today the surrounding countryside is mainly agricultural, with paddy fields, irrigation tanks and small villages. On the map these appear as scattered water bodies and rural roads reaching out from a compact urban core.
The town centre is a dense mix of market streets, residential lanes and railway land, while newer housing extends along the highway corridor. A Gūdūr map poster shows the logic of a junction town, where the railway lines form the strongest shapes on the map and everything else settles around them in a close, practical pattern.
Rail lines converge at the station and fan out in several directions, dividing the town into sections and giving the map its clearest structure.
Reservoirs and ponds dot the countryside around Gūdūr, appearing as rounded or irregular water shapes that add contrast to the fine lines of fields and roads.
The national highway along the east coast passes the town, a long straight route that draws newer development outward from the older centre.

Koteā ko Gūdūr
Gūdūr is a place many people pass through by train, but for those who grew up there, it is the station, the market and the road home. A map preserves that everyday geography with quiet precision.
