Te mapa
Hrubieszów lies in the far east of Poland's Lublin region, on the Huczwa River a few kilometres before it joins the Bug, which forms the border with Ukraine. From above you can see an older core of market streets near the river, with later housing estates and small single-family houses spreading out from it.
The town is the birthplace of Bolesław Prus, one of the major Polish novelists of the nineteenth century. It also has a place in economic history: in 1816 Stanisław Staszic founded the Hrubieszów Agricultural Society here, often described as one of the first cooperatives in Europe.
A Hrubieszów map poster shows the river valley, the older street pattern and the fertile fields of the surrounding loess country. The Huczwa's winding course and its meadows add a soft, natural line next to the straighter lines of the town.
The river runs through low meadows next to the town. On the poster its bends and the open floodplain contrast clearly with the built-up streets.
The historic centre has a compact pattern of streets around the former market area. Newer districts developed around it, and you can see the older core in the middle of the design.
Around the town, large fields cover the Lublin loess country toward the Bug. Long field boundaries and village roads fill the outer part of the map.

Koteā ko Hrubieszów
Hrubieszów means a lot to people with roots in eastern Poland, including families who emigrated long ago. It also appeals to readers of Bolesław Prus. A map of the town is a quiet way to acknowledge that connection.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family surname or a year of emigration. Then choose one of five styles. Paper and Sand have an archival feel, while Classic black & white stays crisp and neutral.
