Te mapa
Huatusco sits in the highlands of central Veracruz, on the slopes that rise from the Gulf coast toward the mountains of central Mexico. It is a traditional coffee town, and the surrounding hills are covered with plantations growing beneath shade trees. From above, the town has the grid familiar from Mexican colonial planning, with blocks arranged around a central plaza and a main church.
The grid doesn't extend far before it meets the terrain. Ravines cut into the hillsides around the town, and streets bend or end at their edges. A Huatusco map poster shows this contrast between the regular centre and the irregular ground around it, where roads follow ridgelines and streams run through gullies below.
Beyond the town, the map opens into a landscape of small roads and scattered settlements linking coffee farms. On clear days the region looks toward the Pico de Orizaba, Mexico's highest mountain, to the west. The composition balances order and terrain, with a colonial grid held in place by the hills and valleys of the coffee country.

Deep ravines cut into the hills around the town, interrupting streets and giving the map a ragged outline where the grid meets steep ground.
Small roads wind outward through the plantation hills, linking farms and villages in a loose network that follows the ridgelines and valleys.

Koteā ko Huatusco
Huatusco is a place people remember for its coffee, its cool highland air and a plaza where the town gathers. A map of its grid and its hills is a quiet tribute for anyone with roots here.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with the name of a family finca or an important date, and five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the coffee country.
