Te mapa
Hurghada lies on the western shore of the Red Sea, and from above it is one of the most linear cities imaginable. A narrow strip of streets, hotels and marinas runs for many kilometres along the coast. The water lies on one side and the bare, rising ground of the Eastern Desert on the other. Beyond the last road, the map simply stops.
It began as a small fishing settlement in the early twentieth century and has grown into one of Egypt's main beach and diving destinations, known for coral reefs and clear water. The older district of El Dahar sits to the north, with Sakkala and the marina area in the centre. The resort strip continues south, and the Giftun islands lie offshore.
A Hurghada map poster brings out that striking shape: a thin city drawn tight against the coastline, with piers, harbours and resort lagoons creating detailed edges along the water. In monochrome the empty desert and open sea frame the settlement like margins on a page, giving the composition a strong sense of place and scale.
Hotels, beaches and lagoons line the shore south of the centre, forming a long, narrow band of development that defines the city's profile.
The older northern district has a tighter, more traditional street pattern, with markets and residential lanes that contrast with the open resort layouts further south.
Just offshore, the outlines of the Giftun islands sit in the Red Sea. They add a few isolated shapes beyond the coastline that divers and snorkellers will recognise.

Koteā ko Hurghada
Hurghada is a place of holidays, diving courses and seasonal work, and many visitors return year after year. A map of the coast is a calm, lasting souvenir of those trips, and its elongated form suits a tall frame or a wide wall above a sofa.
Add a title and subtitle, the dates of your stay or the name of a dive centre, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, which suits the desert tones well. Buy the six-size HD bundle for $9 or order a matte print.
