Te mapa
Keizer sits directly north of Salem in Oregon's Willamette Valley, with the Willamette River forming its western edge. It incorporated as a city only in 1982, having grown for decades as a residential area on the capital's northern side. From above it reads as a network of suburban streets, cul-de-sacs and small parks, organised around a few long north–south roads connecting it to Salem.
River Road, the main commercial spine, runs the length of the city not far from the water. Keizer has long been associated with irises, grown commercially in the area, and holds an iris festival each spring. Along the river, Keizer Rapids Park provides trails and open ground on the floodplain, one of the places where the town reaches the Willamette directly.
A Keizer map poster shows a city defined by a river on one side and a neighbour on the other. The Willamette's curves and side channels draw a soft western border, River Road runs as a steady line through the centre, and residential loops fill the space in between. Interstate 5 marks the eastern side, closing the frame.
The river bends along the city's western boundary, with side channels, wooded banks and floodplain parks drawn as a flowing, irregular line.
The main commercial road runs north–south through Keizer, a straight, continuous line that anchors shops, schools and neighbourhoods on either side.
Curving streets and cul-de-sacs from several decades of suburban growth give the map an organic, patterned texture between the major roads.
