Te mapa
Ladispoli stretches along the Lazio coast north-west of Rome, a long, narrow town squeezed between the Via Aurelia and the sea. Its centre is laid out on a regular grid of straight streets running inland from the beach, an unusual regularity for an Italian town and a sign of its relatively recent origin. On the map the coastline is almost straight, giving the whole composition a clean horizontal edge.
The town was founded in 1888 by Prince Ladislao Odescalchi, whose name it carries. Its beaches are known for dark volcanic sand, and at the edge of town the Torre Flavia, a coastal watchtower, now stands partly in the water within a small protected wetland. To the south, the castle of Palo sits beside the shore within its own wooded estate.
Inland, the ground rises gently toward Cerveteri and its Etruscan necropolis, one of the best-known archaeological sites in the region. A Ladispoli map poster shows the contrast clearly: the orderly town grid and railway line on one side, open fields and the sea on the other, with small streams reaching the coast between them.
The shoreline runs almost straight along the Tyrrhenian Sea, giving the map a strong, clean edge where the street grid ends abruptly at the beach.
A coastal watchtower now stranded in the surf, surrounded by a small nature reserve of marsh and pools that shows as a soft pattern at the edge of town.
Laid out after 1888, the centre uses straight parallel streets running inland from the sea, a regular pattern that stands out against older Italian towns nearby.

Koteā ko Ladispoli
Ladispoli is where many Romans spend their summers, and the map carries that association: the walk from the station to the sea, the long promenade, the tower in the water. It suits a bright room and pairs naturally with a map of Rome.
Set your own title, a subtitle and the coordinates line, and choose from five styles; Sand and Paper suit the coast especially well, while Noir makes the shoreline stark. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
