Te mapa
Lubin has a small historic core surrounded by large post-war housing estates. Its main roads divide the town into clear sections, and industrial areas and open land surround the whole. On the map, the contrast between the older streets and the broad blocks of later neighbourhoods is easy to see. Forests and farmland lie beyond the town edge.
The town's modern growth is closely tied to copper. After large deposits were discovered in the region in the 1950s, Lubin became a centre of the Legnica-Głogów Copper Belt, and KGHM Polska Miedź, one of the world's major copper and silver producers, is based here. The local football club, Zagłębie Lubin, takes its name from this mining basin.
A Lubin map poster reflects a town shaped by industry and rapid post-war expansion. Its main thoroughfares are clear, the residential districts form a strong pattern, and the older centre still holds the middle. It suits miners, their families and anyone who grew up among the estates of the copper basin.
A small older core with a market square and surrounding streets sits in the middle of the town. It is the part that predates the copper boom.
Large housing estates built during the mining expansion fill much of the map. Their long blocks and open courtyards form a distinctive geometric pattern.
Industrial sites, roads and rail connections around the town hint at its place in the copper belt. Forests and fields extend beyond them.

Koteā ko Lubin
For families connected to the copper industry, Lubin is more than a place on the map. A poster of its streets marks a working life, a childhood in the estates or a football loyalty, all in one clean image.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, adding a family name or a year that matters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Digital files cost $9 and include six sizes, and printed posters come on matte paper, framed on request.
