Te mapa
Mesquite sits in the far north-east corner of Clark County, Nevada, right on the Arizona border. On the map, Interstate 15 cuts diagonally across the town, and the Virgin River runs parallel to it through a green floodplain. Everything else is desert: pale open ground broken by washes and the edges of the surrounding ranges.
The town has a distinctive layout. Its residential areas are made up of curving cul-de-sacs and gated loops. Several golf courses thread between them as long, meandering shapes. Casinos and resorts cluster near the highway exits. This mix of fairways, planned neighbourhoods and irrigated fields gives the map a softer look than a simple grid.
Mesquite began as a farming settlement along the river and grew into a resort and retirement destination between Las Vegas and southern Utah. A Mesquite map poster shows the green river corridor, the diagonal line of the interstate and the desert pressing in from every side.
The river and its floodplain run along the southern side of town, forming a green, winding band against the dry desert terrain.
The highway cuts a bold diagonal through Mesquite, with interchanges that anchor the resort strips and the main commercial areas.
Several courses wind between the neighbourhoods and add long, flowing shapes that contrast with the tight loops of the residential streets.
