Midlothian is a city in Ellis County, Texas, about twenty-five miles southwest of downtown Dallas. On the map, a small historic downtown sits where roads and railway meet, surrounded by a growing ring of residential subdivisions with curving streets and cul-de-sacs laid out across former farmland.
