Te mapa
Møn lies south of Zealand, and from above its outline is a mix of gentle and dramatic. The western part is low and indented with shallow bays and inlets, and bridges connect it to Zealand and neighbouring islands. Moving east, the land rises into woodland and hills. At the eastern edge the coast drops suddenly into a long line of cliffs above the Baltic.
These are Møns Klint, white chalk cliffs well over a hundred metres high, one of Denmark's best-known natural landmarks. The island is recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve and as a dark-sky area. Its medieval village churches are known for their painted ceiling frescoes. The small town of Stege, on the western side, still has an old town gate.
A Møn map poster shows that progression across the island. In the west are Stege's compact streets and the bridge lines, then comes the web of country roads through farmland, and finally the woods and cliffs in the east. A single outline covers several very different landscapes.
The eastern coast ends in steep chalk cliffs. On the map they form a long, clean edge against the Baltic, the most dramatic stretch of the island's shoreline.
The island's main town sits by a narrow inlet on the western side. Its old street pattern forms the densest cluster of lines on the poster.
Bridges connect Møn to Zealand and to the small island of Bogø. They are the few straight lines across the water in an otherwise curving outline.

Koteā ko Møn
Møn is a place of summer houses, cliff walks and dark-sky nights, and a poster of it tends to go to people with long ties to the island. The Paper style suits its chalk and farmland, and Noir recalls its star-filled night sky.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a summer house name, a date or your own coordinates, and choose from five styles. Download 300 DPI files for $9, or order a matte print shipped from partners in over 30 countries.
