Te mapa
Naraina is a town in Jaipur district, Rajasthan, on the flat, dry country west of the state capital. Its old core is a tight knot of narrow lanes and closely built houses, the kind of organic street pattern that grows over centuries rather than being planned. Outside that core the map opens up into fields, tracks and scattered settlements.
The town has a lasting place in religious history. Dadu Dayal, the sixteenth-century poet-saint whose followers form the Dadu Panth, spent his last years at Naraina, and the town remains an important centre for the sect. Its shrine draws pilgrims, which gives this modest place a significance well beyond its size.
A Naraina map poster shows the dense old centre against the open plain around it. The area is also near Sambhar, India's largest inland salt lake, so the town belongs to a distinctive landscape of salt flats and semi-arid farmland. In black and white, the contrast between the crowded lanes and the empty land is especially strong.
The historic core is a compact tangle of narrow, winding lanes, a pattern shaped over time rather than laid out on a grid.
Naraina is closely associated with the saint Dadu Dayal, who spent his final years here, and it remains a key site for his followers.
The town sits on flat, semi-arid land in the region of Sambhar Salt Lake, and open fields surround the built-up area on every side.

Koteā ko Naraina
For families from Naraina, and for followers of the Dadu Panth, the town carries real meaning. A plain line map shows its lanes and setting honestly and makes a calm, unforced piece for a home or a place of study.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or the date of a pilgrimage. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a digital HD file or a printed poster.
