Te mapa
Nogales lies in the high valley of central Veracruz, where the road from the coast climbs toward the plateau of Puebla. From above, the town reads as a long band of blocks following the valley floor. The highway and the older road run side by side through the centre, and the slopes close in on both sides. The whole settlement is shaped by that narrow, fertile corridor.
The best-known spot on the map is the Laguna de Nogales, a clear lagoon fed by mountain springs that sits close to the town centre. On a Nogales map poster it shows as a small, calm shape among tight residential blocks. Around it the street pattern loosens into irregular lanes that follow the ground rather than a grid, and the edges of the town run out into farmland.
Nogales belongs to the string of towns between Orizaba and the mountain passes, a corridor that grew with mills, rail and road traffic. Its neighbours sit so close that the built-up area almost runs continuously along the valley. Drawn in black and white, that continuity turns into a slender line of streets with dark hills pressing in from either side.

The town follows a narrow valley floor, so streets stretch lengthwise along it. On the poster that gives a long, directional composition rather than a round town plan.
The main road toward Puebla and the older route run parallel through town, forming a clear double line. Side streets branch off it and climb briefly before the slopes stop them.

Koteā ko Nogales
For people from Nogales, the lagoon and the valley road are the shape of home, and a map holds them without needing a photograph. It suits a hallway or a study, and it makes a considered gift for family who have moved away from central Veracruz.
You can set your own title, add a date or a short line in the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 digital file or a printed poster.
