Te mapa
North Vancouver rises from the north shore of Burrard Inlet, directly across the water from downtown Vancouver. Its streets run up a steady slope from the waterfront. Lonsdale Avenue climbs straight uphill through the middle of the city, linking Lonsdale Quay and the ferry terminal with neighbourhoods higher up toward the mountains.
The SeaBus crosses the inlet from Lonsdale Quay to Vancouver in a few minutes, and the waterfront, once lined with shipyards, now mixes piers, public spaces and housing. Behind the city the North Shore mountains rise steeply. Creeks run down through wooded ravines toward the inlet, creating green strips between the street grids.
A North Vancouver map poster captures a city defined by its edges. The inlet forms a clean shoreline along the bottom, the grid climbs uphill in an orderly pattern, and ravines and forest break it into sections. The crossings to Vancouver, the Lions Gate to the west and the Second Narrows to the east, add long lines across the water.
The city's main street climbs straight up from the waterfront, a strong vertical line that organises the whole grid on the poster.
The waterfront market and SeaBus terminal sit at the foot of Lonsdale, where piers and former shipyard slips meet the inlet in sharp shapes.
Wooded ravines run down from the mountains toward Burrard Inlet, cutting green channels through the neighbourhoods and softening the regular street pattern.

Koteā ko North Vancouver
North Vancouver suits anyone who has taken the SeaBus home, walked up Lonsdale after work or hiked the slopes above the city. The map holds the inlet, the grid and the mountains together in one frame.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a neighbourhood, a date or a short phrase, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint pairs well with the city's shipbuilding past.
