Te mapa
Pahrump spreads across a broad valley in Nye County, Nevada, about an hour west of Las Vegas and close to the California line. Seen from above, it looks nothing like a compact town. Roads run in a huge, loose grid of long straight lines, with houses and ranches scattered between them and plenty of bare desert still visible inside the blocks.
The Spring Mountains form the eastern wall of the valley, and the land slopes gently away from them. Pahrump is unincorporated, yet it is the largest community in Nye County, and its growth shows on the map as more and more roads stretching out across the valley floor. There are also vineyards here, unusual for the Mojave.
A Pahrump map poster is about space. The grid is open and generous, the main highway cuts diagonally through it, and the emptiness between the lines matters as much as the lines themselves. In black and white it has an almost diagrammatic look, like a survey plan pinned to a drafting table.
Long straight roads divide the valley into large squares. Many are only partly built, so the grid reads light and airy on the poster.
The main state highway crosses the valley at an angle to the grid. It gives the composition a strong directional line and marks the commercial spine.
To the east the terrain climbs toward the Spring Mountains. The street pattern fades out where the slope begins, and that makes a clear boundary.

Koteā ko Pahrump
Pahrump draws retirees, commuters and people who wanted more land and sky. A map of the valley grid captures that choice well, and it looks good in simple, modern rooms.
Add your own title, subtitle or coordinates line, such as your road name or the year you moved west. The poster comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
