Te mapa
Pembroke Pines stretches across southwestern Broward County, from the older suburbs near Hollywood out to the levees that hold back the Everglades. From above it looks almost entirely engineered: long east–west arterials such as Pines Boulevard, a regular grid of section-line roads, and inside each block a looping pattern of residential streets wrapped around man-made lakes.
Those lakes are the city's signature on a map. Dug for fill and drainage as the wetlands were developed, they sit in almost every neighbourhood and give the plan a scattered, lace-like texture. Interstate 75 and Florida's Turnpike cross the city, and C.B. Smith Park is a large green block on the east side.
Pembroke Pines was incorporated in 1960 and grew quickly over the following decades as Miami and Fort Lauderdale spread west. A Pembroke Pines map poster shows that growth clearly: a rational frame of arterials, filled in with curves, cul-de-sacs and water.
Excavated lakes are spread across the residential areas, each ringed by curving streets. At poster scale they form a distinctive pattern of open shapes.
On the western side, development stops abruptly at levees and conservation land, a hard straight edge between suburb and wetland.
This long east–west arterial runs the width of the city and anchors the grid of major roads that frames each neighbourhood.

Koteā ko Pembroke Pines
For residents, and for those who have moved on, a Pembroke Pines map captures the specific curve of their own street and the lake behind the house. The planned pattern works well as a graphic, almost architectural print.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates to mark a move-in date or a family home, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
