Te mapa
Pīlibhīt lies in the far north of Uttar Pradesh, in the Terai belt below the Himalayan foothills and close to the border with Nepal. The land here is flat and well watered, and on a map the town's compact street network is surrounded by streams, canals and fields rather than hills.
The district is known for the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, a stretch of sal forest and grassland to the north and east of the town, and as the area where the Gomti River begins its long course toward Lucknow. The town itself has a long association with the craft of making bamboo flutes, which gives it the nickname Bansuri Nagri.
A Pīlibhīt map poster captures the town at street level: a clustered centre, railway lines cutting across it, and roads heading out toward the forest and the border. In black and white the image is simple and measured, a fitting portrait of a place defined as much by its surroundings as by its streets.
Small rivers and irrigation channels thread across the flat land around Pīlibhīt, and on the poster they appear as fine, winding lines that contrast with the straighter roads.
Rail lines pass through the town and meet near the centre, giving the map a set of firm, gently curving strokes that organise the surrounding streets.
Routes leading north and east head toward the tiger reserve and the Nepal border, stretching the town's outline outward into open country.

Koteā ko Pīlibhīt
Pīlibhīt is a place people tend to remember for its setting: the forest, the rivers, the flute makers. A map of the streets holds those memories in a restrained form that fits a living room or a workspace.
Add a personal title, a subtitle with a date or a dedication, and keep or edit the coordinates line. The design comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
