Te mapa
Qarchak lies on the Varamin plain, south-east of Tehran, in a landscape of irrigated fields, orchards and small canals. It grew rapidly in recent decades from a rural settlement into a large town, largely as a place where people working in and around the capital could find housing. On the map this growth shows as dense, compact blocks packed closely together.
The streets are mostly straight and narrow, forming an irregular grid that reflects successive phases of building rather than a single plan. Main roads link the town to Varamin and to Tehran, and the edges of the built-up area meet farmland abruptly, giving a clear line between urban texture and the open plain.
Qarchak is less known to visitors than the historic towns nearby, but for many families it is simply home. A Qarchak map poster presents it honestly and without embellishment: a tightly packed town on a flat plain, its roads reaching out toward the capital and the surrounding villages, drawn as a clean and quietly graphic pattern of lines.
Closely packed residential blocks fill the town, producing a dense, even texture that reads strongly in black and white from edge to edge.
Main roads run from Qarchak toward Tehran and Varamin, straight lines that tie the town into the wider metropolitan region and give the poster clear direction.
Where the houses stop, irrigated fields often begin immediately. This sharp boundary creates a crisp outline around the town and a calm, open frame of plain.

Koteā ko Qarchak
People hang a map of Qarchak because it is where their family lives, where they grew up, or where they started out after moving toward Tehran. The simple, dense layout makes an honest and striking wall piece.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates with a street name, a family name or a date, and choose one of five styles, from Classic black and white to Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to suit the room.
